The AASP foundation was incorporated on November 19, 1976 as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, public organization registered in the United States. This means that contributions to the AASP Foundation are fully deductible on your U.S. Federal Income Tax return.
The objective of the Foundation is to further the science of palynology to a wider audience, through promotion, assistance, encouragement, support, and furtherance of studies and research in the field of palynology, including the dissemination of information related to palynology, primarily through publicationsand continuing education.

Also, many employers have a matching gift program whereby they match your personal gift to a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, public organization.
