Description

The scientific literature on Triassic to earliest Cretaceous dinoflagellate cysts was first compiled by Riding (2012). Five supplements to this major compendium have subsequently been issued (Riding 2013, 2014, 2019a, 2020a, 2020b). In each of these
six publications, the relevant contributions on this topic, together with appropriate and descriptive keywords, were listed. A total of 1941 items were listed in order to provide interested parties with a complete inventory of the literature on this topic. The
bibliographic references for these 1941 contributions have been amalgamated and are itemised below in alphabetical/chronological order. The 401 contributions which are considered to be of major significance are asterisked.

This contribution is an update of a previous amalgamated compilation (Riding 2019b), and it has benefitted from the comments of peer reviewers Przemysław Gedl and Daniel J. Mantle. It is published with the approval of the Executive Director, British Geological Survey (NERC).
