The AASP foundation was incorporated on November 19, 1976 as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, public organization registered in the United States. This means that contributions to the AASP Foundation are fully deductible on your U.S. Federal Income Tax return. The Foundation was created as a non-profit organization with the purpose of supporting AASP scientific publications. Publishing and distribution of scientific articles in various disciplines in the field of palynology, including sales of the publications to the interested general public, remains the primary goal of the Foundation.
The Century Club of the American Association of Stratigraphic Palynologists Foundation has been established by the Trustees to provide persons with the opportunity to support activities of the AASP Foundation. Also, many employers have a matching gift program whereby they match your personal gift to a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, public organization.
