The AASP Foundation was incorporated on November 19, 1976 as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, public organization registered in the United States. This means that contributions to the AASP Foundation are fully deductible e.g. on your U.S. Federal Income Tax return or most likely in your home countrie’s tax return.
The objective of the Foundation is to further the science of palynology to a wider audience, through promotion, assistance, encouragement, support, and furtherance of studies and research in the field of palynology, including the dissemination of information related to palynology, primarily through publications and continuing education.
The Century Club of the American Association of Stratigraphic Palynologists Foundation has been established by the Trustees to provide persons with the opportunity to support activities of the AASP Foundation. Also, many employers have a matching gift program whereby they match your personal gift to a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, public organization. It is well worth the effort to explore this possibility concerning your gift to the AASP Foundation.
